Join us at our Fort Wayne Studio for a Card Writing Party!

On Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 2-5 PM we will be hosting our first-ever in-person event at our current Fort Wayne studio. In honor of Thinking of You Week, we'll be offering all the cards you can write for $20, plus complimentary snacks, drinks and postage.

FAQ

What is the purpose of this event?
We're celebrating Thinking of You Week by catching up with each other while we catch up on our correspondence. We'll have tables set up with cards, a selection of fun writing implements and postage so you can reach out to friends and family through the mail. We'll also have some light snacks and drinks to fuel the frenzy of correspondence. We'll mostly be hanging out in the front room of our studio but we'll be happy to give tours of our production and fulfillment spaces in the back to anyone who is interested.

What is the cost of attending?
The entrance fee of $20 will cover all the cards you can write during the event. If you'd like to take extra cards or art prints, towels or sponge cloths home with you, we'll have a table set up for shopping. 

Do I need to RSVP?
If you'd like we'd love to have you sign up to attend (here's the event page) but it isn't necessary. Feel free to come at the last minute or bring friends!

Are children allowed?
If your children are old enough to sit at an adult-size table and write a card they are more than welcome. There's a quiet, private nursery room in the back that you are welcome to use if you have an infant who needs changing or feeding. Our space is not well child-proofed however so if your child is mobile but not reliably able to keep themselves safe around breakables and machinery it might be advisable to make other fun plans for them. The Heartell staff will be leaving our preschooler, toddler and baby at home for this one. :)

Where should I park?
Our studio is in a strip with plenty of parking, and there's more in back if the front lot is full.

Anything else I need to know?
Our favorite local photographer Ruth Yaro will be present at the event capturing images, so we'll ask everyone who attends to sign a simple waiver authorizing us to take photos and use them in our marketing (newsletters, catalogs...all those things you need to keep a stationery company in the black. :)
