Heartell Press is moving to the midwest! Farewell Open Studio, Thursday August 18 from 6-9 PM
I have some news to share today. At the end of August, my husband and I will be relocating to his hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Brooklyn has been my home for 7 wonderful years, and the transition will be bittersweet. Leaving my friends and my community of fellow artists and makers is going to be hard. New York is the most inspiring place I've ever lived, and the list of favorite neighborhoods, streets, museums, galleries, restaurants, shops, works of art and particular qualities of life in New York I'm going to miss is long. But the move is going to be great for us, and for Heartell. Things we're short on here--especially space (both indoors and out), quiet, and family are abundant in Indiana. New York is the place I came to find my path, and I'm so grateful for everything I've experienced while living here. Indiana is the perfect place to continue building what I've created, and I look forward to sharing all the new designs and projects that emerge as Heartell Press continues to grow and thrive in our new home.
Please join me on Thursday, August 18 from 6-9 PM for a Farewell Open Studio + Sample Sale at 112 2nd Avenue between 9th and 10th Streets in Gowanus!
